오트밀죽 (porridge)

I had the best porridge ever last night.. Best and the first porridge I have ever tasted.
Reminded me of goldilocks and the 3 bears.
Porridge along with banana milkshake with ice cream topping. My brother helped with the ice cream scoops.

For the past few days my right jaw and gums have even acting up and last night I could barely ope my mouth to eat. I still can't even yawn properly. My right side of the face is swelling up and the pain is keeping me awake!
I do not need another molar in my mouth. I just wish it would come out soon now that it's on it's way and just make the pain and the swelling go away. I want to yawn in peace and eat well!!

It's easier said than done

Ignorance is bliss. Although it isn't exactly easy to ignore something, specially if you get the feeling that your actions and words can save someone from getting themselves in trouble.
Therefore thinking that it was for the best, especially in the long run Jesse ended up telling her close friend to think twice before making a choice and being totally serious about it. It's something she definitely wouldn't do but since she cared for her friend, she decided to do it. Lucas, her friend had taken a special liking towards a girl she knew well (Wicky). Wicky was a sweet and nice girl but she had a reputation when it came to members of the opposite sex. Jesse met her in school and though they weren't close enough she knew and heard a lot about Wicky and her doings.
So the moment Lucas told Jesse that he liked her she wasn't exactly surprised. You could say she saw it coming. She knew Lucas had a thing for her for a while. But when it came to the point where everything was actually about to happen she got worried and ended up telling Lucas that she didn't want Lucas getting hurt since Wicky had already hurt her classmate.
Jesse expected Lucas to get mad at her but was glad that he understood her intention and thanked her although. he didn't think much and said "It's all in the past". Jesse felt unsure if she did the right thing. She worried for a while then decided to be happy for her friend. Maybe things might work out and if it doesn't she'd warned Lucas so she wouldn't feel bad in the end.
Only problem is Wicky. Jesse didn't like her much and tries to ignore her excitement over Lucas. It was the same thing when she was with her classmate Alan. But she's finally decided to completely turn a blind eye and deaf ear to that issue.

Maybe she'll get to say "I TOLD YOU SO" at the end.
Either way not her loss. Ignore it and lead a blissful life. Jesse would be a happier person then.

Another sleepless night

No sleep for me tonight. Guess the sandman forgot about me.
I shall read my new story book till sleep comes my way... Till then here are some of the latest shots of Onew from their concert in Seoul. I hear they're coming to Singapore on the 8th of December for a concert! Wish they'd come to Malaysia as well... Otherwise. There's no way I'll ever get to see them. *sigh*

While browsing the bet I came across some pictures of food made creatively so I wanted to make tonight's meal special for my brother and came up with this.
Filled with his favourites : rice balls, cucumber , carrots , broccoli and fries And a nice piece of fried chicken to go with it.

New upcoming drama in august! Starring SHINee's Minho and fx's Sulli.
I've watch the Japanese and Taiwanese version. So far my favorite has been the Taiwanese version. In having lots of expectations out of the Korean one since it has one of my favorite actors/singer/ rapper in it.
Wish the other members of SHINee would cameo in the drama. Specially Onew!!
Looking forward to the OST as I hear it will be sung by SHINee.
Overall I'm very excited and I can't wait to start watching it. I'm definitely going to love it.

아잇스 스게틴 (Ice Skating)

On the 8th of July I went to a new ice skating rink that opened near our houses. For the past 4 years that I've lived here I've always watched people skate from afar. I was afraid to fall and hurt myself though I always wanted to glide freely through ice ( not like a figure skater though but it'd be nice to learn that as well).
I sure was new at everything. I wasnt even able to put on my skates properly. Standing up and taking a step forward in skates made me nervous and excited as I was a step closer to making one of my dreams come true. With adrenaline pumping in my veins I half walked half stumbled to the ice rink and for the first time in my entire life I set foot on ice (skates I mean). I held on to the railings at the side if the rink. I was unable to let go since my feet were unsteady. Thanks to my friend who taught me how to keep my feet I stumbled around for about and hour or so and found the courage to let go of the railings. I focused on keeping my balance, prayed not to fall and I was very much determined to make good use of the time and money I spent and learn something. So I did my best and before I knew it I was gliding through the ice , finding my balance each time I stumbled. I had learned to skate. Though I still have a long way to go. I can carry myself on ice now and with practice i'd get better and hopefully be able to spin and glide through the ice gracefully like the people on TV and the cartoons I've watched. ^^
