We all wish for a thousand things each and every single day. Not for the world to change of course, but for our own little selfish needs. Wishes to make life easy for us. Like wishing for the remote control of the TV to be right next to you when you accidentally left it else where and settled down to watch TV. Or wishing for your friend to offer you a ride home so you wouldn't have to hail a cab and pay for it.
Little do we think of everyone else when it comes to our own needs. That's just who we are anyways, greedy and selfish human beings.
I for one, make tons of these little wishes everyday. I wish for things like, hoping to get out of the house by the time my classmate comes over to pick up my other friend and classmate who lives right across the street from me. So that I could catch a ride with them and save me the cab fare. But that's just the mornings. Evenings after classes I would wish for it to rain so my friend would give me a ride back home again saving me the trouble of walking in the rain to hail a cab and also saving me some money.
Lately these little wishes about catching a ride for class or having a cab nearby so i wouldn't have to walk or wait too long has been coming true. I'm not too sure if it's sheer luck or if God hears my plea and grants it. But either way it does come true most of the time. Since these are usually subconscious wishes I tend to forget them but since its been coming true lately I haven't been able to shake the thought off my head. Of course it doesn't happen every single day but most of the time it does. Which is considered good and not freaky at all since its for the common good of everyone. Yes it is rather selfish on my part but the more selfish stuff I wish for doesn't come true.
Like waking up with a spotless smooth and glowing face.. Now when that happens I might find it cool and freaky. Because I know very well that it is most unlikely, in fact it might even make me believe in miracles.
It isn't always nice to have every little wish come true. It could become rather troublesome. But wouldn't it be nice?? Wouldn't life me so much easier? Or would it become more troublesome?
Wishes...wishes wishes...

MORNING BEFORE EXAMS... T_____T
- Dealing with the drastic effects after drinking coffee >__<
- Feeling dizzy
- Eye lids getting heavier
- Anxiety building up
- Leading to stress
- THIS IS MENTAL TORTURE!
and yet here I am blogging, as if I don't have better things to do right now
3 complicated papers in one day * O_O* is disastrous
Part of me can't wait to get it over with but the other part of me wants time to pass by as slowly as possible so that I can be a little satisfied by the end of the day.
Gonna do my very best to do well..... but I need all the luck in the world =\

Curiosity really killed the cat!
Allowing your inquisitive nature to manipulate you can make you do things that you truly do not want to do. Mostly butting into people's personal lives... and that it NOT a good habit.
Sure, it can be interesting, but when you find out stuff you really and i mean really do not want to find out, that's when you find yourself rolling downhill.
You might wonder why I'm talking about this...
Well...
Long story shortened
It goes like this
There's me and then there's my friend..
Our friendships lasted for about 7 years or so now
But somewhere down the road we (mostly , my friend) started living our own separate lives.
I did my best to keep in touch, to catch up and talk but my friend seemed to be too busy with life
So yeah after years of trying i got fed up and stopped trying (What's the point when you never get a response right?)
And one fine day Viola! there's an e mail from my friend.
I'm shocked and feel a tinge of happiness and relief and replied immediately
Then I waited
And waited
And waited some more
I did not get a reply, so naturally I got curious ( i mean i knew my friend had access to the net... )
And I did a little "research" and found out my friend had ample time for others (none for me ='[ )
And me... well i got furious and upset and had the worst weekend.
Moral of the story .. don't let your curiosity take over your senses. (It doesn't sound that meaningful out it that way, but you get my point right)

Up close and personal with some tigers XD
During my holidays , I paid a visit to Afamosa and I chose to check out the animal safari. Being the animal lover that I am, I was physced to watch the tigers and lots of other animals just a few centimeters away from me. In fact at some point I wanted to reach out and touch a tiger. It seems crazy, but I've always wondered what it'd be like to raise a little cub, be it lion or tiger XD.
It really was an amazing experience. One I'd never ever forget.

...A story in progress
The first thing she became aware of was the sweet fragrance of lavender that filled her nostrils with every breath she took. Then she felt the soft grass underneath her.Feeling content she slowly opened her eyes and looked up at the baby blue sky, the corners of her lips tugged to form a small smile.

The peculiar thing about life
"In life there's always death.
There is darkness in light,
There is pain in joy, and
There are thorns on roses."
There is darkness in light,
There is pain in joy, and
There are thorns on roses."

Arguing with my conscience
"Where there's love there's peace." Or so the saying goes. I, for one was never able to grasp the meaning of those words. All I knew was that those words held a deep and powerful meaning. Despite my belief some doubt it or simply refuse to believe it. Being the overly optimistic and hopeful person, I wanted to make sure that the saying was indeed true. After all if everyone could learn to love and be on friendly terms the world we live in would be a very peaceful place.
BUT... is it really possible? One mans loss is another man's success. Is it really possible to over come greed and live in harmony? Every living thing around us, including us fights for survival. But is it really necessary for humans to kill for survival? Shouldn't there be a solution? My extremely optimistic self tells me that there's no harm in hoping for it. Although thinking logically, it seems almost impossible...

A tattoo in progress
(its just half done) |
I've drawn tons of tribal art for the past couple of years and I've never thought of actually designing a tattoo until a friend came to me with a request.
I've spent months thinking on how it should be with little progress and very little success but as of today I decided to sit down and get it together and here is what I came up with.
Hoping to finish it off during my holidays xD

My very first blog xD
As my very first blog I'd like t post a poem that has truly inspired me...
What's a better way to start a blog ...
The way I see things, without inspiration there is no technique
‘Method is much, technique is much, but inspiration is even more.’ – Benjamin Cardozo,
Rudyard Kipling
If
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!
